Biomorphic Form
This was a very fun project! The materials used in this project was a wood platform, wire hangers, panty hose, and paint. We had to create a biomorphic sculpture while trying to use negative space correctly. This project is not as difficult as it looks. The only difficult part I found about it was trying to form a shape that you were comfortable with. I struggled in that aspect because I was aiming for a wave shape to my piece but did not succeed. Instead I settled for this odd shaped that I formed and I worked along with it. I had not idea that I was going to do an ocean theme. That idea came along as I painted a blue base coat to cover the panty hose holes. I liked the color and I did not want to paint a different color on top of it so I used it to my advantage and made an ocean theme to it. Although Biomorphic Form is an abstract form of living organisms, I did not do my piece of an abstract organism. Although if I painted my piece pink with other details I could have pass it as coral ;)
