Nevelson Assemblage
For this project we had to create an imitation of Nevelson's work. Instead of having patterns in the box flat, we decided to build it upwards. Then put all of the class pieces together to make a city. We chose one color to paint everyones project and we chose blue, but it can be in different colors of blue. Mine is not green!...its teal. Its a blue ;) The materials we used is chunks and random pieces of wood that we could fin in the wood pile, wood planks and board to make our box, wood glue, hot glue, and tape (to hold the box together while it dries).
This was a fun project I really enjoyed creating my piece. I didn't have a plan for this project I just went with the flow and what looked good. I had this piece of bark that I found in the pile that I did use in my master piece but unfortunately I forgot to take a picture of it when the whole thing was painted. There is a picture of it though in the piece when the project wasn't finished. I did not pain the bark because i wanted it to pop out and have it tie the whole look to my piece together.
