Wire Sculpture
For this project I had to create a piece all with one wire. Well, it was the goal to create a sculpture all with one piece of wire. But because I chose to create Eve from the movie Wall-E, it was almost impossible since I'm not a master in wire sculpting. I had two pieces to this, because I wanted to have Eves head hovering over her body. Now I admit, I could have had arms for her body, but the sculpture looked more clean without her arms. All I did for her body was twist the wire around to make a coil like structure. For her head, I had to create a base first then I had to make a structure to make a shape for her head and then I wrapped some wire around her head. That took a while. Then I made her eyes which was just a matter of bending wire in half and then bending it into an open V-shape. After I finally finished making her, it was time for spray painting! It was probably the hardest part for me. It was hard because the paint would go through the piece and then I would have black paint in areas that weren't suppose to be black. It was all in the matter of patience and covering the piece up with paper and paint each section one at a time.
